Report: Interim Michigan State President John Engler to resign, effective Jan. 23

After numerous calls from within the Michigan State administration and the MSU community, Interim President John Engler will resign effective Jan. 23.

The Board of Trustees was expected to fire him at a Thursday morning meeting, as a source close to the administration confirmed the trustees would have had five votes to fire Engler.
